Imaging Source Camera Communication Driver is the driver to communicate with Image Capture Equipment of The Imaging Source Europe GmbH in the Germany.

Important) Imaging Source Camera Communication driver is needed ‘ ImageCamera.exe ’ program.( ‘ ImageCamera.exe ’ should be run).

1. Read settings

2. Write settings

You can capture the current image camera screen by write command of Imaging Source Camera communication driver.

Bit write

Bit write and word write have the same setting parameters except output value(0 or 1).

Word write

Word write setting parameters are as follows:

1) PORT Port no. (0 ~ 255)

2) STATION Do not use.(0)

3) ADDRESS When ‘Extra2’ value is 1, use capture file name.

File name: 00000000 to 99999999.

4) Extra1 Write command: CAPTURE,

Capture image folder: project folder\ImageCamera,

Capture File name: depends on the setting of the Extra2,

Capture File format: BMP. (No compression)

5) Extra2 Capture File name Mode.

0 : Current computer time used as the file name. File name format is yyyyMMdd_hhmmss.bmp. (yyyy: year, MM: month, dd: day, hh: hour, mm: minute ss: second)

1 : Use ‘ADDRESS’ value as a Capture file name.

2 : Extra1 format = CAPTURE.xxx. Where is the name of the file you want to use xxx. (xxx = character, number, etc)

<Table 1> is a description of Capture Image file to be saved as command ‘CAPTURE’.

After setting parameter as shown above, does ‘Word write’, Imaging Source Camera communication driver save captured image to project folder\ImageCamera\00000005.bmp’.

After setting parameter as shown above, does ‘Word write’, Imaging Source Camera communication driver save captured image to project folder\ImageCamera\abc.bmp’.

Block write

Imaging Source Camera communication driver don’t support ‘Block write’.
